The Rustic Bite started in 2020, just as a fun way to gather family and friends together over appetizers and drinks.

My name is Ely and I simply started The Rustic Bite to share my love for cheeses with others. I’ve always loved to host and remember starting my venture in 2016. I had my first Cheese & Wine party with friends. It was nothing fancy at all, to me it just meant sharing a bit of me with the ones I love. Five Years later with a grown passion for traveling that made me a connoisseur of fine wine and cheeses, I decided to go for it! & The Rustic Bite was created.

A little bit about me….

I’m originally from NYC…

Graduated College in NYC and moved to CT.

I have a background in Accounting & Finance. I love what I do and have been in the field for 10+ years.

I love creating amazing charcuterie boards but when I’m not, I’m normally hosting intimate dinner parties, spending time with family, and crushing my fitness goals.

All of our boards and cocktails are handcrafted, and carefully prepared to ensure quality and freshness in every bite.

With an appreciation for artisan foods, we hand select the cheeses and meats used for our boards. Every board and cocktail is made fresh, and to order. We also cater to different dietary restrictions and food preferences, just ask us how!
